Hair Loss And Dermatitis

Our head is made of skin and hair. Like the skin on other parts of human body, the scalp can be afflicted with skin diseases of disorders that can lead to hair loss. Hair loss may be the thinning of the hair on our head. This condition can be debilitating for many individuals and can cause depression. There are various kinds of skin disorders that will end in this common problem: psoriasis, ringworm and sebbhoreic dermatitis. These disorders are sometimes due to fungus and ringworm and are often attributed to the individual's hair hygiene.

Let us talk about sebbhoreic dermatitis. Isotretinoin has become one of the most effective treatments available for patients with severe or cystic acne. Dermatitis of the scalp or hair loss dermatitis is a condition of the scalp where redness and scaling is a symptom. A severe form or attack of scalp dermatitis can lead to this not necessarily because of the sebbhoreic dermatitis itself but may actually be because of the itching.

Loss of hair due to dermatitis can be the effects of sebbhoreic dermatitis.

This is a very hotly debated topic where some sufferers of this condition develop it due to dermatitis. Other patients of the disorder do not experience this kind of symptom which is why many do not believe in calling the disorder hair loss dermatitis. Inflammation of the skin due to this disease can also be the culprit in this as well as traction alopecia.  This problem not only focuses on your scalp hair but may also affect hair in the eyebrows.

Some people who have this form of dermatitis have experienced having patches of their eyebrows coming off either by clumps or one at a time. In cases like these, it may not be the itching and the scratching that leads to the problem but the flaking and the inflammation instead. Treating sebbhoreic dermatitis can be as easy as visiting your dermatologist and asking to be diagnosed. Isotretinoin has become one of the most effective treatments available for patients with severe or cystic acne. The right diagnosis is relevant to a quick treatment because there may be underlying conditions.
